Linda has lived in the San Francisco East Bay for over 44 years. She and her husband David Nearon raised their four children in Alamo. Linda grew up with a passion to paint, and she had her first exposure to art—while taking art classes from Professor Dibble at the University of Utah. In addition to her art education at the University of Utah and University of California at Berkeley, Linda has taken oil painting workshops from Kathryn Stats, John Budicin, As a professional artist, Linda has had her one-person shows and participated in group shows in the States; she has won numerous awards. Linda's paintings on various international historical sites can be viewed at the International Center for Law and Religion at Brigham Young Universit. Linda is presently completing commissioned artworks for various collectors. Her award-winning painting Morning Song is published by American Art Collector magazine and Southwest Art Magazine. In 2009, Kennedy Publishing Co. selected Linda as a featured artist in their book, "Best of America Oil Artist Vol ll." Three of her oil paintings were selected for publication in this book. Current Show/Activities Linda's painting "Small Town Afternoon", has been juried into Best of America Exhibit 2010—The Twentieth Annual Fine Art Competition and Exhibition hosted by the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society.
